Ministry Team Leader - Bonnie Runkle

The Worship Support Ministry exists to enhance the worship experience at ARCC by staffing and training volunteers to fill the various support roles essential to producing an excellent worship service. The Worship Support Ministry will participate with the Senior Minister and choir director in every way possible to insure that the Lord is honored through the corporate worship services at ARCC.

The Worship Support Ministry has a unique opportunity to provide an introductory step into the assimilation of many new disciples as it administers a number of opportunities to serve that provide minimal training and experience. These will be noted throughout this description as "basic support ministries". Other areas of need in the worship service require some technical training. These will be noted as "technical ministries". Other roles are more visible and require a certain level of giftedness in communication, music and teaching. These will be noted as "presentation ministries".

Worship Support Ministries include:

• Communion servers (Brenda Summers)
• Communion preparers (Erma Miller)

Technical Ministries include:

• Projector/computer operators (Bonnie Runkle)
• Soundboard operators (Bonnie Runkle)
• Lighting technicians (as needed) (Jim McKay)

Presentation Ministries include:

• Choir - Jim McKay
• Presiders over communion and offerings (Brenda Summers)
• Scripture Reading and prayer (Brenda Summers)
• Praise Team & Worship Band (Bonnie Runkle)
• Special Music (Bonnie Runkle)

All worship participants will be encouraged to consider the unique importance of their personal and visible witness in the eyes of those they guide into worship, albeit in various ways.
