Food and Fellowship

Ministry Team Leader - Dick Binkley

The Food & Fellowship Ministry exists to enhance the fellowship of ARCC by providing meals and/or by assisting other ministries in providing meals for a wide variety of fellowship, ministry and compassion events.

The Food & Fellowship Ministry has a unique opportunity to provide an introductory service step toward the assimilation of new disciples in this church and will regularly look for opportunities to do so. Regular responsibilities of the Food Ministry include:

  • Supporting the Family Matters mid-week program by providing an excellent meal at the most reasonable possible cost.
  • Providing other fellowship venues either on-site or off-site, as the ministry sees fit. These include, but are not limited to special fellowship dinners, dinners in conjunction with congregational meetings, corn & doggie roast, etc.
  • Keeping the kitchen organized and appropriately stocked with supplies so that other ministries that use the kitchen will feel well-supported. This will be accomplished by conducting a regular inventory of typical kitchen and food service supplies such as disposable plates, bowls, utensils, napkins, table paper, etc. This may also include developing guidelines for the use of the kitchen in the event enough different ministries are using it that a standardized procedure becomes necessary.
  • As needed, assist and direct other ministries that use the kitchen to conduct their meetings and/or special events.
